"Your clean and beautiful Victorian house is decorated to perfection and the hearty delicious breakfasts were much anticipated each morning. Your warm and engaging personality made our week long stay so thoroughly enjoyable. "... I have to admit, I don't know why anyone would stay in an expensive NY hotel with options like this B&B available so nearby. The proximity of this B&B to the Staten Island ferry makes for a pleasurable and scenic ride into the city past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, not to mention the view of Manhattan. The beautiful Victorian house and all the innkeeper has done to restore its elegance made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay no hotel room could provide. I have stayed at many B&B's but found the innkeeper's personal style and approach for hosting guests unmatched. The unassuming and low-key way she put so much effort into making sure we were taken care of is unique and special in this industry. I plan on returning and will be telling friends and family about this property as well. Thank you again!"
