Activities/Attractions: Niagara-on-the-Lake is the birth place of Upper Canada. For over two centuries (since 1871), the town has glowed with a special grace and confidence that comes with age and generations of admirers. The Old Town was influenced not only by the gracious English manner and architecture, but the time honoured tradition of Bed and Breakfast. Whatever ideas were adopted along the way, today's Niagara-on-the-Lake has a style very much its own.

As you might expect, theatre-lovers and other tourists alike, enjoy both the day and night ambience of the town. The quaint shops, pubs (try the Angel Inn - thought to be haunted) and eateries, lakeside picnicking and golfing, and overall relaxing atmosphere are all here for the taking. We should warn you as well, that Niagara-on-the-Lake can be habit forming. One night might lead to two or even three, and you may want to return again and eventually often. Should this curious, albeit intriguing feeling come over you, we can only recommend that you give into it.

Relax on the patio or deck, surrounding yourself with the tranquility of our unique organic Victorian garden. Wishing Well Cottage is just a few minutes walk to the Old Town centre. The property is open all year and is great as a summer retreat or winter getaway destination.

General Information: Welcome to Wishing Well Historical Cottage ... this circa 1871 historic summer cottage is owned by Canadian Soprano Maria Rekrut. The "Museum within a Cottage" is filled with a private art collection, antiques and collectibles from all over the world.

This two bedroom, two bathroom cottage has both one high four poster queen and king bed. Full kitchen privileges, plus your own sitting and dining room, "your home away from home". All you have to bring is your toothbrush! The comforts in this adult oriented cottage include:
