Activities/Attractions: Indian Lake is in the middle of the Adirondacks, with easy access to the High Peaks Region, Lake Placid, Old Forge, Lake George and Saratoga.

We are centrally located within a short drive to major attractions and sporting events. There is always something to do, no matter what time of year you wish to visit.

The area is known for pristine lakes with fine fishing, swimming and boating.  There is also superb hiking, white water rafting, snowmobiling and skiing (downhill and cross- country).

The Gore Mountain Ski Center is a half hour away and offers 4 season recreation.

Snowy Mountain Inn is also the home of the Adirondack Smokehouse Barbecue Company and is available for catering year round. Even though we specialize in "Chicken & Ribs" BBQ and "Pig Roasts", we are full service caterers for on and off premise catering. Our Oak smoked Prime Rib, Steaks, Lamb, Pork Chops and Duckling are an outstanding taste experience.

General Information: The Snowy Mountain Inn is an owner operated Country Inn that is open year round and offers lodging, cottages, B&B and a full menu restaurant featuring Real Pit Southern Barbecue, home cooking and abundance of Adirondack hospitality. The atmosphere is private, quiet and laid back.

Snowy Mountain Inn is located on Route 30 (Adirondack Trail Scenic Highway), 6 miles south of the hamlet of Indian Lake, New York. The Inn is on a plateau near the base of Snowy Mountain (elevation - 3,995 ft.) overlooking Indian Lake.

All of our accommodations are available year round. The cottages have:
