Activities/Attractions: The inn is 14 miles north of the road to the Hoh Rain Forest, 12 miles east of the Pacific Ocean at Rialto Beach, 30 miles south of Lake Crescent and the road to Sol Duc Hot Springs and overlooks the Sol Duc River Valley and rain forest.

Our gardens feature 26 varieties of rhododendrons, over 50 varieties of roses, 18 varieties of trees and numerous native plants accented with seasonal flowering perennials and annuals. The outdoor spa is next to the rose garden. Forks is the perfect place for sightseeing, and experience the natural wonders of the Olympic Peninsula's west end. The Olympic Coast is a lightly developed landscape, ideal for endless exploration.

You'll feel the allure of the ocean, you'll wonder at the spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife, dramatic forests and native heritage; making your visit to the north western most corner of the nation unforgettable. Washington's Olympic Peninsula also offers superb fly fishing for large native steelhead, salmon, sea run cutthroat and dolly varden.

Most peninsula rivers flow from within the Olympic National Park, a designated world heritage site. This is one of the few places in the world where it's still possible to fish all day in absolute seclusion. Mileage from Forks:

General Information: Nestled on a ridge in the rain forest, The Misty Valley Inn is a Bed & Breakfast Inn set in a modern 6,000 square foot stone and cedar home. Excellent personal service is provided each guest, including individualized wake-up and breakfast service times and personally selected menus.

We offer a rare combination of Northwest hospitality and luxurious European style service. Our goal is to provide a relaxed atmosphere where guests are immersed in magnificent views, excellent personal service and marvelous food. The Inn offers four distinctly different guest rooms.

• The Dutch Room (available during July through September) has a King size bed with a full private bath and its own deck
  
• The Irish and French Rooms have a large shower included in the private bath
  
• The English Room has a full private bath. All three of these rooms have queen size beds

"This small B&B has 4 very charming rooms that are individually decorated. The common area is very comfortable, with a large piano. The dining table, where you will eat spectacular breakfasts, overlooks the misty valley that gave the B&B its name. The B&B is run by a married couple - he is the principal at the local high school, and she is a home economics teacher there. They are the most gracious, welcoming people. You will choose your wake up time in the evening, and will get to select whether you want coffee or tea delivered to your door. It will be on a tray with a freshly picked rose from their garden. You will also have selected your breakfast choice from a menu of decadent options. Breakfast is three courses, and very lavish. You'll have to hike it off! There is a jacuzzi out back, and there is actually privacy. The rooms are very comfortable, with plush beds and recently renovated bathrooms. I had a great time there and would love to go back!"
