"This place is an excellent stay for us when we come by ourselves or with family. Yes, they are a B&B that accepts children! The estate is spectacular, the rooms are wonderful and comfortable, the hosts are friendly and accommodating, and the food is plentiful and unmatched in savoring tastes. Thee Hubbell House has become our getaway for a few years now. We have, however, noticed that people have caught on and it is not longer a best kept secret. Still, the time we spend there and in Winnsboro is always memorable and relaxing and the owners make everyone feel welcome and at home."
"Tim & Paul are two of the most gracious hosts we have ever encountered. Thee Hubbell House is a very beautiful estate and the restaurant cannot be beat. We will be back!"
General Information: Tim, Paul and Rebekah, hosts of the Thee Hubbell House B&B, invite you to be their special guests on a stay at their magnificent estate located ninety miles east of Dallas amidst the beauty of the Piney Woods of Northeast Texas in Winnsboro. Nestled among 300 year old oak trees, the beautifully landscaped gardens of Thee Hubbell House are an enjoyable place to spend time walking or sitting while enjoying the serenity and basking in the ambiance of yesteryear.
The gardens also become an excellent introduction for what our guests discover when they first walk into the houses of the property. On entering each building, it instantly becomes apparent that the period antiques furnished in the rooms and common areas have been specially picked with great care to ensure both comfort in their use and an appropriate image of the historical essence of the estate.
Another noticeable aspect is that each room is en-suite and has its own sense of inviting warmth that leads guests to quickly forget about any outside distractions they have left behind.
