"Beginning in 1994, I began staying at the Heritage Park Inn for all my business stays in San Diego. As a female traveling alone, security was the number one factor for staying there. In addition, the owner was quick to respond to my business needs -- early in-room breakfasts, computer modem accommodations, an uncluttered working surface, quiet (NO TVs in rooms!!). Also, various restaurants and entertainment are within easy walking distance. Because I've stayed there so much, it is wonderful how all of the staff remembers my likes/dislikes, plus I've tried all the rooms (every room's my favorite)."

Nancy and Charles could not have made our stay any nicer; they are great people. The breakfasts were delicious, and the innkeepers were just great, especially George. "Last 4th of July weekend was our first experience at a bed and breakfast inn and it was amazing. The staff at this inn was so friendly and helpful. We loved our room and had the opportunity to view some of the other guest rooms after meeting the other guests at breakfast. There were so many special and personal touches that really made our experience wonderful. The food was delicious - that includes breakfast of course, as well as afternoon tea. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially after factoring in all of the amenities. Thank you for a great stay! We will definitely be back!"

The historical park includes seven Victorian houses of different architectural styles, set among cobblestone walkways and gardens on 7.8 acres. The inn is an enchanting Queen Anne mansion characterized by a variety of chimneys, a two-story corner turret, and a wrap-around veranda - perfect for relaxing on warm evenings or lazy afternoon.

"What a beautiful place! From the time we walked through the door we were pampered and made to feel welcome. Homemade cookies, Caswell-Massey soap in the bathroom, Godiva chocolates on our pillows, many little touches. We stayed in the Turret room but had a chance to look into several of the others, and they all looked inviting. Some rooms have attached baths and some have baths down the hall. Never fear, because you'll find robes in your room! At breakfast, food was lavish and the company excellent. We felt very safe in the quiet neighborhood and our van, left in the Heritage Park lot, was fine. We walked to the Presidio and to Old Town San Diego, and many restaurants are within walking distance as well. All in all, a wonderful place to stay!"
