"Planning a trip to Charleston? Stay here!! It is a little pricey but worth every penny! This was my first time visiting Charleston and I'm so glad I picked this place. The reviews really helped as far as choosing a place to stay. The room was great with the best sheets and softest pillows! The turndown service with personal robes and the goodnight sweet topped it off. Not to mention valet parking, champagne on check-in, wine in the afternoons, warm cookies and milk in the evenings, breakfast in bed, and excellent customer service! When we were about to go on a ghost tour one evening it looked like it would rain. The front desk had umbrellas for us to take and sure enough, we would have gotten soaked without them. All this for $200 a night? Worth saving for. This is the only place to stay for me!"

"I read all of the reviews so I had high expectations of this hotel. However, I had no idea how much I would love The French Quarter Inn. True, it's not a historic B & B. But what it lacks in history, it more than makes up for in understated elegance. The lobby and circular stairway are beautiful. Our room was very large, nicely appointed and quiet. I don't think I've ever slept on a more comfortable hotel bed and I loved the pillow menu. The breakfast was a bit pedestrian but the all-day coffee, tea and lemonade coupled with the cheese & wine at 5pm and the cookies & milk at 9pm was a really nice touch. The staff was pleasant and attentive to our needs. The location is great--right in the heart of the historic district. Overall, our stay at the French Quarter Inn was excellent and nicely complimented our trip to Charleston. We'd definitely stay here again!!"

"We love this hotel! We are actually writing this review from our room. There is a desktop computer in the first part of our room, separate from the sleeping area. The room is gorgeous, great staff, perfect location. We even have breakfast delivered to our room-free! I would definitely stay here again and again. So quiet and with a beautiful view from the balcony. You will be very happy here!"

"Our family of 5 had a wonderful time with plenty of living space in our suite. We loved everything from the complimentary breakfast being delivered every morning, wine and cheese at 5:00, to cookies and milk at 9:00. We got to pick the type of pillow we wanted to sleep on and our children loved the jellybeans and M&M always available in the lobby. My compliments to the staff for their promptness on every issue."

"Stayed 2 nights in early August. The staff was fantastic. Brian at the front desk was very helpful, but the entire staff deserves praise. Pillow menu was unique, champagne was nice touch, wine and cheese, free Continental breakfast delivered to your room, this place does a lot of things right. Located in the heart of downtown. I would definitely stay here again."

"We spent a glorious long weekend in Charleston at the French Quarter Inn. We found the French Quarter Inn to be in the perfect location for going without a car and walking to all our points of interest, shopping and dinner. Our Jr. Suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. Plus, there were so many pampering amenities. The wine cheese and champagne gathering at 5:00 p.m. was the perfect respite before heading out to a dining adventure. Breakfast delivered to your room is a pampering experience and when they say warm bagels and croissants they didn't over promise. The staff was warm and welcoming extending true southern hospitality. This is really a boutique hotel, so if you like the atmosphere of a B&B but with complete privacy and quiet this is the place to stay."

"Really enjoyed our stay at the French Quarter. Great location, our room overlooked the Market, within walking distance of all the sights. Our room was clean and comfortable. You can even have your choice of 7 different pillows. The staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary continental breakfast delivered to your room is a definite plus."

"We had a wonderful stay at the French Quarter Inn. The service was excellent! Very friendly and helpful The rooms were very nice and large as were the bathrooms. The evening wine and cheese as well as the other amenities made the a first rate hotel!"

"From the moment we arrived until the minute we left, our stay at this lovely establishment could not have been better. We were there for 3 nights to celebrate our 42nd anniversary. We were in room 311 which is a Junior Suite overlooking the market area. Not especially a pretty view but interesting to say the least! We were able to see the harbor and the new bridge as well. The staff was always extremely pleasant and helpful and when I say the staff I mean everyone - not only the front desk staff but the bellboys, the housekeeping staff, the valet parking, etc. The amenities were great! It was so nice to be able to have coffee, tea, ice tea or lemonade anytime during your stay. The continental breakfast was very nice as well as the cheese and wine reception every evening not to mention the ladyfingers and champagne served at check in! And then ... the warm cookies and milk at night - what more could a person ask? We left on Monday having had a totally positive experience at this hotel and we will absolutely stay here next time we visit Charleston. Thank you French Quarter!"

"Free cookies and milk each night, free breakfast delivered to your room, champagne (with lady fingers) each night ... can you beat it? Wonderful rooms some with balconies and the staff, man what a great place. But don't tell a bunch of people or it will not be the same ... in that vain it is like my father used to say; "You won't like that lobster just hand it here and I will eat it for you." I cannot recommend this hotel any higher, YOU WILL ENJOY IT!"

"Staff could not be more accommodating as we checked in with no luggage; airline "delayed" luggage 9 hours. Staff presented comb, razor, toothbrushes, etc. Justin ,at the front desk ,took over checking with airline for luggage arrival while we went to dinner. Lovely little touches like Continental breakfast, cold tea and lemonade after a long day, champagne before leaving for dinner. So close to everything."

"My family and I visited here the first week in August and loved everything about this hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The amenities were outstanding and the location could not be better. In my opinion this place was perfect. It made our vacation extra special. The French Quarter Inn is exceptional."

"I wish I had the opportunity to stay here more than one night; the place is amazing! I had room 301, which has a balcony from which you can see the Market and street life below. The rooms are just the right size and house excessively large bathrooms! Though the breakfast was skimpy; a few pastries, coffee and juice, everything else was top notch!"

"We have visited Charleston SC many times and this is by far the best hotel we have ever experienced. You will not be disappointed."
