Activities/Attractions: Kentucky Lake Cabins are in a grassy, treed area and across the road from a Wildlife Refuge. Several public pools are only 5-10 minutes away, as well as a public swimming beach. It's about a 2-minute walk to the lake and a 5-minute walk to a local marina and public ramp.
There is a lot to do and see in our area. TVA's 170,000 acre Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area is just 20 minutes away. There you'll find the only elk preserve east of the Rocky Mountains as well as an American bison prairie. Bald eagles can be seen along with wild turkeys, deer, foxes, and numerous other wildlife.
Something's always in season for the anglers. Our
area of Kentucky Lake is famous for its great black crappie
fishing! Large & small mouth bass, striped bass, sauger,
several varieties of bluegill, and big ole catfish abound!

For the Civil War buffs and the casual visitor alike, this historic battlefield is well worth visiting. Its visitor center provides an audio-visual program, exhibits, and more information.
In the summer months, live "Rebel soldiers" re-enact some of the exhibits. The battlefield overlooks Lake Barkley and is a lovely place for an afternoon's picnic.
There are 4 golf courses within a 30-minute drive of Kentucky Lake Cabins, and 2 are championship courses! One is at Paris Landing State Park.
General Information: Welcome to Kentucky Lake Cabins ... located on beautiful Kentucky Lake in NW Tennessee, we have 3 different kinds of cabins available. And they are quite different from each other!
One is a very modern Log House. It accommodates up to about 15 people, perfect for a couple of families to stay in and use as "Headquarters", and is very comfortable. The Log House is on 3 levels and has:
- central heat & air
- full-length, covered deck out front
- living room with a sleeper sofa, color cable TV, VCR, and
stereo
- full kitchen with microwave and dishwasher
- full bath
- Master bedroom with TV, a king sized
bed, a double bed, and 2 twins
- full deck out back with 2 grills, one
charcoal and one propane
- Upstairs Loft with a double bed and 3 twins

Downstairs in the basement is a 3/4 bath, a foosball table, and a double and a twin bed
The Kitchenettes are small cabins. One half is a full size kitchen including stove, refrigerator, and microwave; the other half is a bedroom with 2 double beds OR one double and one twin. The 3/4 baths have standing shower stalls. Outside is a picnic table and a grill.
The Sleeping Rooms are one-half of a cabin with 2 twin beds or 1 double bed with a standing shower stall in the bathroom, plus a/c, color cable TV, and a picnic table out front.
