"My daughter and I really enjoyed the horses and the family hospitality at the ranch. We rode, we roped, we even took a shot at riding the calves. Dinners around the campfire were fun as well as checkers in the lodge. There is lots of good basic food to eat and tons of activities. Two thumbs up!"

"The total ranch experience exceeded our expectations. Half the time we went on trail rides and the other half we worked cattle. The scenery was breath taking. The people are the nicest you will ever meet. Food was outstanding. The authentic rustic cabins were very nice. They aim to please their quests."

"I had never been on a guest ranch. This was better than I expected. It was not a polished dude ranch, it was real. The family and hired help were great. We became a part of the family and were even invited to the local 4th of July picnic with friends. They still keep in touch with personal letters and Christmas cards."

"We had a great time at your ranch - the kids carry on all about it to everyone they meet because they've told everyone they know - Alia cried when we were leaving."

"My 16 year-old son enjoyed this more than anything else we've ever done - and we've done a lot! Even my husband who's not into "roughing it" had a great time. I'd go back every year if I could."

"Everybody here had a very good remember of our trip last summer and often we think of you and the guitar night when we hear Joan Baez's voice. We hope we'll come back to the ranch someday."

"The Zitlau family are friendly, out-going people. We have become friends and stay in touch. I would encourage anyone to stay at the Guest Ranch that likes the Real West as it was around 1900."

"We have told everyone about our experiences at Granite Creek this summer. Eileen and Kayla each made a scrap book of pictures and mementos from our summer vacation trip out west and of course most of it is about Granite Creek. Thanks to you all for giving us such a great time."

"Thank you for a wonderful time at your ranch.  The food, company, activities and beautiful surroundings made for a truly great vacation. Many thanks."
