As you drive north along the highway from Nanaimo or Lantzville towards Nanoose Bay, you'll see 'Notch Hill' rising 244 meters above the ocean. This hill is the most prominent feature on the Peninsula and was used as a landmark by early sea captains.
Throughout the Nanoose Peninsula, scenic beaches offer picnicking, relaxing strolls or hiking. A forest of firs, arbutus and Gary oaks provide a wealth of bird watching and wildlife viewing.
Golfers love the incredible 18-hole, professionally-designed course at Fairwinds; while at Schooner Cove you can charter guided sightseeing or fishing expeditions.

General Information: Welcome to Island Treasures ... intimate, elegant and exclusive, one of Vancouver Islands finest ''treasures''. The unique atmosphere at Island Treasures B&B is created by blending romance with all the comforts of home. In addition to our luxurious accommodation, every stay includes our famous 5 course gourmet breakfast in the sunny dinning room.
The suite is beautifully appointed and has its own special seaside character; private entrance, fine furnishings with tasteful decor, rich fabrics and linens, cozy down duvet, bath robes, queen size bed, fireplace, warm colours and a lovely view of the water fountain over looking the serene private backyard. Our guests enjoy the private hot tub set in a open pagoda.
The large hot tub with many soothing jets is kept at 102 degrees F day and night all year to enable our guests to capture the special British Columbia Super Natural moments. Experience the blackness of a wilderness night, moving satellites, rare far away planes, the moon, and shooting stars.
