"We spent Christmas of 2004 in New Orleans and were really pleased with this hotel. We had heard from locals that it was a great place to stay. The location could not be better. The rooms were very attractive and well maintained. Our room on the 6th floor was also very quiet, with really comfy beds. The bathrooms are on the small side but very nice, with a great shower. In-room safe is nice too. We had a superior room which was nicely sized. Our friend had a queen room which was pretty snug but for one person it was ideal."

"Just returned from our stay at the Omni (Dec. 26-27) and had a wonderful stay. The staff is very professional and helpful, particularly the bell captain/bellman. We had a superior king room on the seventh floor and it was a very nice size. I am a Select Guest, so we received complimentary juice/coffee (you select the night before), delivered to our door in the AM along with a US Today paper. As an added touch for Christmas, they also gave us a nice plate of pretty (and good) Christmas cookies. The lobby was decorated so beautifully for the holidays. And the location of the hotel is perfect ... right on Royal, and an easy walk to Decatur and Bourbon, and Canal."

"Just returned from a 10 day stay at the Omni Royal Dec 22-Jan 1. I can't imagine a better vacation. The staff, Jamin (front Desk), Keith ( brought us coffee and juice in the morning) and Ryan, had to be the nicest and most professional people I've encountered in a hotel. From Geneva to Paris, London, Japan, Hawaii, New Zealand, Merida or San Francisco. They made our Christmas and New Year a very Merry Holiday. The staff really does make it a five star hotel! Kudos."

"Our stay at the Omni Royal Orleans was delightful. The staff was very courteous and responsive to our needs. The room was clean, well-maintained and a nice size ... especially for the French Quarter. And, the location could not have been better! Since we stayed during the Thanksgiving holiday, the hotel lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Everything was perfect!!"

"This was our second trip to the Royal Orleans and we had a great time. The hotel is in a terrific location and the staff members were very accommodating."

"We've stayed in New Orleans at least twice a year for 17 years and experienced many of the 4 and 5 star hotels. However, this was our first stay at this property and we were a little hesitant since we were loyal patrons of another French Quarter property. Upon arrival we were instantly impressed. Check in during this time usually takes 2 -3 hours. I don't think it took me 10 minutes total! I called the front desk before we arrived and spoke with Janice. When I arrived, she immediately remembered and went on to reassure me that she would do everything to make sure we would enjoy our stay at the Omni. When we reached our room, the bell man gave us a quick review of hotel and French Quarter highlights. Our beautiful room gave us a great French Quarter view. EVERYTHING was GREAT!!!! The food in the Rib Room was EXCELLENT and the staff was star quality."

"We stayed at the Omni Royal Orleans between November 5, 2004 and November 11, 2004. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. The rooms, although small, are very nice with excellent decor. The hotel itself is grand and beautiful to walk through. The observation deck on the roof is fantastic with a really nice heated pool for those relaxing afternoons in the hot sun. The service was exceptional. Finally, the location is outstanding. It is right in the heart of the French Quarter, a hop, skip and a jump from Bourbon St, Jackson Square and everything else that is worthwhile."
