In late June we celebrate "Windjammer Days" where you can find many beautifully colored sailboats scattered in the bay. The ideal in-town location allows you to leave your vehicle and stroll to the picturesque village for boat trips, unique shopping and fine dining just steps away.
Or you may simply enjoy lounging on the waterfront lawn watching the seabirds on the shore with a view of Boothbay Harbor’s historic footbridge in the background-- a favorite spot for artists and kayaking enthusiasts!
"Stayed for 2 nights in early October in the "Harbor Lights" room. We loved the view! Great location. Room was spacious and clean with freshly washed linens. Phil and Laura were truly warm and genuine people. They are native to the area, and they offered great tips on eateries and sightseeing during breakfast. Hope to return there real soon."
"Brand new rooms remodeled from floor to ceiling and wall to wall, great view of the harbour, walking distance to town - one block, and Phil and Laura Chapman who know the area and have great recommendations. We stayed there three days in late Sept 04, and plan our next trip longer at the Blue Huron. A great value. We were surprised at how wonderful it was for the price!! We feel it is under priced for what it offers!!"
"My sister and I were looking for a clean, picturesque, and quiet place to spend a relaxing 2 days on our way up the Maine coast. What we got at the Blue Heron Seaside Inn was much more. Phil and Laura were very helpful and friendly. They made us feel right at home. Laura was even kind enough to make a special breakfast item at my sister's request. Our room was on the top floor with a nautical theme ... Beautiful! The Inn was just completely redone ... so everything is new ... and clean! Our balcony had such a great view of the harbor. I definitely recommend you stay here ... it makes a great memory."
"You will always remember your visit to the Blue Heron Seaside Inn. The Inn is beautiful, the view is spectacular and the inn keepers are helpful in advising you. Phil and Laura will make you feel welcome."
"A most fantastic place to stay. A warm welcome, five star accommodation, with fabulous views of the harbor from all rooms, two minute walk to the shops harbor and restaurants, faultless."
"We found The Blue Heron Seaside Inn to be a very attractive inn with a lovely view over the harbor. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were superb. The host and hostess, Phil and Laurie Chapman, are delightful people who are anxious that time spent in Boothbay be enjoyable and the town of Boothbay itself is delightful."
"Enjoyed 5 days in October at your lovely inn and will recommend to anyone coming your way. The rooms are all charming, large and immaculate. Breakfasts were always fresh and delicious!. Phil and Laura were warm and welcoming hosts who were happy to discuss the area, give directions and recommend restaurants, etc. Thanks so much for making my stay a delight! Still munching Gorham apples!"
"A first class B&B, in a great location, just a short walk to "downtown" Boothbay Harbor. Our 2nd floor room (#3) was large, well appointed, and very attractive. Innkeepers Phil and Laura are very friendly and helpful, with good advice regarding tourist attractions and local restaurants. We plan on returning soon."

"We just came back from a long weekend at the Blue Heron Seaside Inn. It was fabulous! Phil and Laurie were so nice and made you feel at home. I looked forward to the delicious blueberry muffins each morning. The house is filled with beautiful antiques and each room has it's own theme. The Blue Heron is new and so clean. It was great! With the help of Phil we were even able to see a few Blue Herons from our porch. We highly recommend visiting this bed & breakfast ... it's worth it! We will be back!"
"Stayed at the Blue Heron for the Winter Festival last year. Laura and Phil were very gracious hosts and prepared a great breakfast spread every morning! We enjoyed the incredible views from our room over a few glasses of wine as snow fell across the harbor. We will definitely be making a return trip and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!"
"What a wonderful week we had at Laura & Phil's Inn! We were made to feel right at home and our room was just lovely. The Inn is right in town and convenient to everything and the view is terrific. Laura & Phil were so helpful in giving us information on all the local activities and goings-on and the best restaurants! We will be back, hopefully, sooner rather than later. Thanks for a wonderful trip."
"I came upon the Blue Heron Inn by accident. I was driving around the area looking for a last minute place to stay in Boothbay Harbor, I was attracted by the beautiful, neat, old house and lovely flowers out front. I had a great stay and have since been back and even had relatives stay there. Phil and Laura were wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful in finding things to do, where to eat, etc. I would highly recommend staying there!"
