For those of you who want to keep busy during your stay we offer guided snowmobile tours. The Long Range Mountains, Gaff Topsails, Hodges Hill and Mount Peyton are all accessible right from your chalet door. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, knee- sledding the list goes on. "Belatedly we are writing to let you know how wonderful our trip was and how much we enjoyed staying in the Chalet. We stayed in March when the snow was still on the ground. You took us snowmobiling and snow-shoeing and we had a fabulous time. We loved the chalet and will be back very soon. Your knowledge of the local area and the time you spent with us made our trip very memorable. Thank you Paul and Joy and see you again real soon - we'll be back before you know it for the summer season."

"I didn't think I was religious, until I stayed at the Riverfront Chalets. Now I know there's a heaven! It sits on the banks of the Exploits River and Paul & Joy Rose are the keepers of our very own Eden. Thanks Paul & Joy for recognizing the beauty that already exists, right under our noses! You do Central Newfoundland proud."

"A few friends and I have booked with riverfront (twice actually), and WOW!!! I think it keeps getting better. Everything and then some. The service and people are GREAT!!! Great family setting, beautiful scenery! I would have just settled for the rafting, but the stay at the chalet just topped it off. The chalets are number ONE!"

"We spent a night there and it was wonderful. The view and the chalets are absolutely beautiful, the owners are great, and the outdoor jacuzzi is just amazing."

"I have been on alot of trips all over the world, but my stay at Riverfront Chalets was far more enjoyable then any southern vacation. The nights in the hot tub under the stars!! Awesome!! The ski-doo trip to the mountains was even better!! It's the first trip me and my wife BOTH left feeling relaxed. Paul's love of the out doors and down to earth personality made the trip all the more enjoyable!! I am heading back in the summer for sure. Loved it!"

"My family and I stayed at these beautiful Chalets in May. Had a great time. Our hosts were great and the chalets were beautiful and had everything we needed. Will go back in the future and recommend to anybody that has the opportunity."

"Stayed at the chalets on a business trip for 4 nights. Wonderful spot-wireless internet, two separate rooms which made it more economical than a hotel and a hut tub! What more could be needed. The scenery and people were fabulous, the accommodations were outstanding. My only regret - I didn't have time to go rafting. Oh well, there's always the next trip! Thanks Paul & Joy, you made a business trip feel like a vacation!"

"We had two wonderful nights and days at your chalets, Paul and Joy. You have a first class resort complimented by wonderful hosts and two lovely children. Your two great dogs became our pets. We shall return."

"I had a great time both times I've stayed here so far this summer. Hospitality is great, the scenery is excellent, and the chalets are second to none. We had a camp fire each time I stayed here with guitars and drums and had a fun time. Awesome place...will be going back for sure."

"Just home from a lovely evening at the Chalets!! We absolutely loved our stay in these beautiful chalets. We spent some time outdoors, in the jacuzzi and just relaxing on the couch watching a movie. Loved the dogs too! Thanks for a wonderful stay, we can't wait to return!"

"This was one of the most beautiful places that I have ever stayed."

"July 31st! Oh what a day! I felt like a kid again! Our family had the pleasure of enjoying the day rafting the Exploits! This was our first trip and certainly not our last! Right from the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be a great day with great company, great weather and superb guides. The whole day was just perfect beginning with the introductions (ha!), the water canon fights, the badger shute swim; bull riding the surf; floating down the Exploits; the great relaxing lunch and oh yes rafting the rapids! We had a great time and will be back again next year…with lots of friends! We have shared our great day with lots of people…you may be hearing from them."

"We have been staying at the chalets for a couple of visits this summer, and have loved every aspect of the trip. The atmosphere is amazing, the chalets are beautiful, and the hospitality of both owners makes you feel right at home. Two of the kindest people I have ever met, and that goes a long way when travelling away from home. Evenings on the river are beautiful, the scenery, bbq, and hot tub give you a little taste of heaven. The rafting trip is amazing, and Paul and Mike are excellent guides and their professionalism gives you the security to really get the most out of your trip. I highly recommend staying here and would give the overall rating of 5 stars!"
