"I wanted to make a special effort to say thanks for your hospitality and excellent customer service. When I found the article on boxing you had taken time to research, waiting for me on the kitchen counter the next morning, I knew I had just experienced an event of customer service that will be shared around the country in my seminars. Thank you. By the way, you were right, when I saw the article, I immediately remembered the Benny Peret and Emile Griffin fight. Your efforts made my stay enjoyable and pleasant. Although my stay was for a business purpose only, I can attest to the joy and serenity that a couple on vacation or someone looking to reconnect with nature or themselves, would experience by spending time at Stonewall. What a rejuvenating environment. Thanks again for your help and service."

"I just wanted to drop you wonderful people a line and say how thankful Cindy and I are for your hospitality. I personally want to express my gratitude for everything you "Friends" did. The special thing is that; I am sure you did nothing special for us, than what you do for all your guests, and that is what makes your HOME a special place. We will surely cross paths again. Thank you again."

"Just wanted to say, "Thanks" for the hospitality. The room was spacious; the chow was tasty and plentiful and the setting was wonderful. The best part was the relaxed, friendly atmosphere and the good company. You have an edge over the competition, because staying with you was just plain fun. As Arnold says in the Terminator, "I'll be back!"

"What a treat it was spending our 23rd anniversary at your B&B. We still are so amazed that, never meeting you before this past weekend, it seemed as if we were with old close friends. Although your accommodations and breakfast, were to say the least AWESOME, your genuinely friendly, warm, kind personalities are what really made the trip such a pleasure for both of us. It was especially nice being the last couple to leave and having the opportunity to get the two of you all to ourselves for the evening. Even though you and your friend "Pat" did give us a scare (with that "acting" performance, which by the way, we think deserved an Oscar) we have never felt so comfortable and at home as we did with you. We will be by to spend time with you again whether it be to stay a nite or two or just passing through. Y'all, I mean "youse guys" (isn't that how they say it in New Jersey?) are the right kind of people to host a Bed-and-Breakfast - you're great Thanks for a such a wonderful experience ... and the Floyd, PIZZA INN, Cheeseburger Pizza too! Keep in touch

"I wanted to say again what a great time Ellen and I had at 'The Stonewall'. I have never felt more at home away from home. That is a tribute to your hospitality. We look forward to our next stay!"

"We have just returned to Holland from a long journey that took us from your B & B to Memphis, Breaux Bridge and New Orleans. We had a fantastic journey and we hope to return to the states soon. We have very fond memories of your beautiful bed and breakfast and the Elvis room, and we will never forget the marshmallow salad! When we come back to Virginia we will surely drop by to say hello. Meanwhile its raining over here in our part of the world, and its rather cold, so we are longing for the mountains and the nice weather you are having over there. It was nice meeting you, hope you are doing well, and all the best to both of you."

"Just a quick note to say thanks for the wonderful weekend both DD and I had and the Aspenwalls. Your place is wonderful and your hospitality was beyond any words to describe. You and Mary have a great B&B and we're pleased we had a chance to relax and enjoy your home with you. Selfishly, I'm glad you took early retirement too. It was great to get away from the executive grind of Tyson's corner for a very peaceful weekend."

"The Stonewall is the best B&B and Home we have ever shared and we have visited several B&B's. With the Blue Ridge Parkway visible from the porch or the Arizona Room, the woods all around, the comfort of the rooms is very relaxing, charming and beautiful. Anytime of year and in any weather, this is truly a unique setting for friends and family. We look forward to the next time we travel your way and to be sure, we will be hoping to find room, in your B&B."
