"The BL is a lovely resort property, and the staff here is always very helpful and accommodating. Our rooms have always been beautiful, clean, and we've never had a problem (we were originally assigned to a king room when we needed two beds, but it was corrected right away). The pool is lovely, and the gym is adequate. The grounds are beautifully maintained."

"I recently attended a meeting at The Bishop's Lodge. I can't tell you when I have had a better experience and I travel the world. From the moment I checked in, the staff was amazing. The attention to detail of rooms, service and food to knowing your name as you walked around the property. We did have snow while we were there and the grounds crew had the property so clean and salted that there weren't slippery areas. The ambience is soothing and relaxing. The food and service were great. We were in meetings for 5 days and not one complaint from any of the attendees. The great thing about being there for 5 days is I was also able to take advantage of the incredible spa there."

"The Bishops Lodge is one of my favorite resorts. The resort is only a 5min drive into town but feels worlds apart from it. I thought our room was nice, it had a fireplace, a large deep bathtub, and a comfortable bed and our patio overlooked a bed of wildflowers and a running stream. I liked the patio dinning area and thought the food was good, especially the breakfast meals. I just loved the hiking trails and all the beautiful flowers, trees and running streams on this property. The pool area was also nice and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property if you enjoy a casual environment, blended perfectly with nature and endless roaming opportunities."

"I have a family of 5 (with infant twins) and we stayed in a deluxe suite (1 bedroom, large living area, dressing room and bath, large private patio and front porch). The furniture and room were fine - two fireplaces and lots of light - plenty of room for five. All the staff, especially the (acting) manager of the Stables, Trent; Michael and Glenn with the bell staff, Anna in sales and Jeanette at the restaurant bent over backwards to be helpful to our family's various needs. The spa (for mom) was a wonderful respite - as good as the Ritz in offerings and better in service! We definitely intend to visit again."

"We had a deluxe room, room 175, huge! New furniture, romantic fire place inside. Pilates, yoga, workout facility, and shuttle service to and from the ski basin all included with your stay. Our driver even took us to get some wine for our room after picking us up from skiing and waited 30 minutes outside the store for us to make our selection. Talk about service! The views are breathtaking and you are only a quick 4 minutes from downtown. The acreage has skeet shooting, horseback riding and hiking trails. Sauna and hot tubs to relax your muscles after a day of playing. Did I mention the spa! We did a couples hot stone therapy massage. Your body felt like it was being bathed in hot oil, with the best massage hands at work tending to your every muscle. Amazing! Highly recommend."

"We were in room 215 of the Chamisa Lodge. It was a huge room with two comfortable queen beds, gas kiva fireplace, built-in desk and wet bar, large sitting area, huge closet, two safes, nice linens including spa robes. The tiled bathroom was also huge with separate shower and soaking tub, double vanity, nice spa toiletries. We got a couples massage at the spa, which very relaxing, not too big or busy like some of the other spas in Santa Fe. We ate at the restaurant several times, Sunday brunch was fantastic! All the hotel staff was courteous and speedy including check-in/out, wait staff and concierge service . Housekeeping did a good job, including nightly turn-down service. The grounds, the views and the Christmas lights and farolitos were all very pretty."

"The staff was friendly, as in family, friendly. Made reservations for dinner and then went to our room. Beautiful, well appointed and generous, yummy toiletries in the bath. Great robes. Salsa and chips were awesome ... You could see for miles. The pool was clean, big and deep and open all night. Dinner was spectacular. What more can I say I had a great time!"
