Activities/Attractions: The island's extensive archipelago of cays and islets is what attracted the original Amerindian settlers - the Ciboney - at least 4,000 years ago. The natural environment, which is rich in marine life, flora, and fauna has been likened to a "natural supermarket."

The Carib House is perfect for special events such as graduation celebrations or family reunions and is available for rent for all of the annual calendar events in Antigua such as Carnival, Antigua Classic Yacht and Sailing Week Regattas.

"Wow, we still can’t stop thinking about what a wonderful time we had at the Carib House. The house was lovely & spectacular. Lou, Jonny, Mathew & Joshie were wonderful and our wedding was perfect. The Carib House was the perfect location for our small wedding. Liz (outstanding job planning the car hire, sail boat, and mostly our wedding), Lou & Jonny were great! We never expected such personal service. Everyone helped with our wedding, from getting our wedding documentation sorted to being a part of our wedding. I cannot forget the fabulous wedding dinner that Charlie prepared!! I especially liked when Jonny arrived the morning of our wedding with a bunch of fresh flowers he gathered out of his yard…and ending the night in a wool tuxedo, very nice touch. Not many owners would do something so thoughtful. Your personal recommendations on where to eat, drink and shop were all great. Everyone we met had a special glow about them, making our trip perfect. I loved the girls at the Tree House too! They made me feel like a princess with all of their pampering. Our day of sailing on “Pandamania” with Capt. Rik and his wife was perfect. And, our first scuba dive with Caroline and her father could not have been a better experience. We also wish that there were more Renford’s in the world ... he was a hoot! Please give everyone a big hug from Dave and myself and tell them we will be back next year to hug everyone ourselves. Two words come to mind about the experience, people and place; “Genuine & Stunning.”

"Our group stayed in the house and loved it from the beginning to the end. The web view was just as it stated and better. We did not want to leave. The owner was there everyday to do the pool and little things because his manager was on vacation and he did not have to do this. Ask for Remy if you want a cook. You have not eaten until you have experience his cooking. He even has a little place for eating and drinking. We wanted to bring him home with us. The people and the area is great. Enjoy the ocean breeze every day and night. We are going back because we loved it."

General Information: The Carib House is an airy luxurious Caribbean colonial style villa which can accommodate groups of up to 10 persons. Located on the south coast of Antigua, close to the entrance of Falmouth Harbour and only 5 minutes off the main road, it is perfect for a get-away holiday, honeymoon or a small conference.

This vacation rental is also ideal for intimate wedding receptions or functions for 20-80 persons with spacious living and entertaining areas, comprising a total of five generous double bedrooms all screened and with ceiling fans. Our luxury villa can be rented as a whole, or as a 4 bedroom villa.

• Large built-in charcoal barbeque with a beaten copper hood overhead. Enough space to cook for a party with a wet-bar installed close by
  
• Open Plan Kitchen Area comprises stunning polished mahogany work surfaces; central island with inset 4 burner, large hotplate, stainless steel range and overhead pot hanger; fruit and vegetable storage bins; and dishwasher
  
• Comfortable, large colonial style wicker furniture set amongst a riot of tropical house plants overlooking the pool and patio
  
• American full-size oak pool table can be covered to form a table tennis table or a dining table that can seat 16 people comfortably. The house’s hi-fi system, with speakers in the gazebo, sitting room and games room comprises a CD player and radio and a substantial collection of CDs
  
• Open plan to the sitting room. The dining area has comfortable seating for 10 around an Indonesian teak dining table. Overlooks the pool and has fabulous views of the Caribbean Sea and Falmouth Harbour
  
• Long gravel driveway winds through the park and leads up to the grand entrance featuring a beautiful date palm in the centre and banana palms to both sides. A triple lock front door opens to a huge entrance hallway, an oasis filled with plants
  
• The pool features a green stone island and is surrounded by natural stone patio - areas totaling some 2000 square feet. Tucked away is an outdoor shower discreetly screened with plants. Sun lounges and a huge umbrella complete the setting with additional large cushions for the serious sun worshippers
  
• The Gazebo is over 500 square feet under a pentagonal roof is the second sitting room. Featuring two large Indonesian bamboo sofas, wrought iron arm chairs, a cushioned terrace, hammocks and a glass topped dining table for 6
